On Wednesday afternoon, February 29, a young man in his 20’s was killed after the Crown Victoria he was riding in collided with a truck and a suburban after the driver pulled out into oncoming traffic. He was ejected from the car during the crash.
Another passenger of the Crown Victoria, a woman who is 7 months pregnant, was injured along with the driver of the car who was flown to the hospital with respiratory difficulties.
According to a witness who works at the gas station, Joseph Roles, “The driver of the Crown Victoria pulled out of the gas station, never looking to his left. He traveled into the lane the pickup was in, and the pickup tried to avoid hitting him but instead t-boned the driver’s side of the car, pushing it over. The pickup then lost control of his truck and struck the front end of the Suburban with the back of his truck, causing it to flip and turn over. The truck landed upright about 50 yards away from the car.”
