Del-Nat Recalls Tires

Due to a serious defect, Del-Nat is recalling hundreds of its Load Range E Tires. The affected tires were manufactured between December 2 and December 30, 2007.

The tires are being recalled because they fail to meet the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard. During testing, a bulge appeared in the sidewall, which indicates that there is a separation between the sidewall components.

The defect can cause the tire to fail while the vehicle is in operation. Failure during operation, especially at highway speeds, can lead to a serious and possibly fatal car wreck.

Tires affected by the recall will be replaced free of charge.

Car wreck attorneys are working on cases in which serious or fatal injury has occurred during a car wreck due to the negligence of another.
